Since the 1999 – 2000 school year, Jeff Vrabel, Sr. has been the Transportation Coordinator for the Columbiana County Educational Service Center in Lisbon, Ohio. He is in charge of the entire Transportation Department and oversees the CCESC Transportation Department website, which was recognized on two occasions by School us Fleet magazine. He also publishes a newsletter, "On The Road Again," which is distributed to transportation department employees and is available on the CCESC Transportation Department website. He became East Region Director for the Ohio Association for Pupil Transportation in October 2006, and was elected Chairman of the CCESC Improvement Council in September 2007,

Mr. Vrabel is a Registered Official in football (15 years) and basketball (20 years) for the Ohio High School Athletic Association, and has been a baseball and softball umpire since 1983. He umpired the Pony League Baseball World Series in 1996, 2000, and 2007, and the Colt League Baseball World Series in 1998, and serves as Vice-President and Umpire-in-Chief of the Tri-T Baseball/Softball League in Youngstown, Ohio. He also serves as Compliance Officer for the arena football2 league and the Mahoning Valley Thunder.

Mr. Vrabel is also a Past Commander of Sons of The American Legion, having served as the Commander of the nearly 38,000 member state organization during the 2005 – 2006 membership year.
