L Marie Lozier is the Transportation Supervisor for Graham Local Schools in St. Paris, Ohio.

Marie has been with the Graham Local Schools for 31 years. She spent 25 years as a Professional School Bus Driver and the last six years as the Transportation Supervisor.

She retired in October of 2004, but the Board of Education reinstated her as the supervisor in January, 2005. Marie has also been on On Bus Instructor since 1991. When Marie was a school bus driver, she was very active in the School Bus Safety Road-e-o. From 1978-1998, she competed in the Road-e-o in the county, area, regional, state, mid-American and international competitions. She received several awards ranging from first to seventh place many times. In 1994, she was the Ohio State Champion and in 1997 she was awarded the West Region Driver of the Year. She has been the co-chair person and chairperson at West Regional Road-e-o and head judge since 1999. In 1996, Marie traveled to Canada to be a judge at the British Columbia International School Bus Road-e-o and competed in the International event in Anchorage, Alaska.

She and her husband, Ben, have been married 40 years. They have a daughter, son and 4 grandchildren. Marie enjoys community service projects she does with her husband’s company located in Utah. Marie likes biking, camping, and traveling out west. Being involved with her grandchildren and church are important to her as well.

Marie has been involved in OAPT since 1997. In 2004 she became the West Region Director. She serves on the ODE Safety Committee.
